The Balloon Payment is Due.
When I was a kid, PBS channel 2 in Boston was always showing "The Red Balloon". You know, the movie where some French kid chases a low flying balloon all over Paris. I'm sorry, if I was that kid I'd just pay a buck fifty and buy a new damn balloon. No chase is worth all that.

I've never seen this film -- so that when the Flaming Lips used it as a back projection at their show at the Roxy a few years ago, I didn't know where the visuals came from.
I apparently missed it on PBS way back when, too - I guess it was because, after "The Electric Companny" was over, I always switched to Channel 56 to watch "The Flintstones."
