May The Schwartz Be With You
If the rumor is true does that mean I can get my money back for the first disk in the original trilogy pack? Greedo shoots first? Those fuckers better not make it part of a 6+ disk box set only release.
If that's true then maybe there's hope for my dream of an anamorphic Dolby 5.1 Blu-Ray with directors commentary version of The Star Wars Holiday Special. Maybe Lucas will redo a version of Episode One that doesn't suck.
One can only dream.

I knew you'd be commenting on The Biggest Nerd News In The History of The Internet soon enough.
I predict Lucasfilm will find the grainiest, dirtiest print they can to master the DVDs from. (In the cleanup for the existing DVD versions, Lowrey Digital stated that the best existing masters had hundreds of specks and imperfections _per frame_.) Then they can proudly say what the fanboys want: "No digital effects whatsoever were applied to these versions!"
They'll release cleaned-up versions of the original trilogy in early 2008.
