OMG, I know someone who bought a condo in Manona. Everyone told him it was too much for Madison. Some just won't listen. Now they are paying the price.
I graduated from Monona Grove High School. Monona is a great town trapped inside a city. The sad thing about what they're doing there is that they actually tore down the Watertower Pub to put up those damn condos. I moved back from Montana and went there for a drink and it was gone. Just gone.
The ol' Bread Barn Crew had a volleyball team that played there. Now it's just condos that sit and wait to turn into rentals.
Madison (as well as many other places around this fair nation of ours) has been overpriced for a while. I hopped on some realty website and was checking out houses for sale in Livingston, MT. What uesd to go for 59.5 four years ago is now selling for 169.5. Same 600 square foot small run down 100 year old house, just "worth" more now. But who's been preaching about it all along?
That's right, not me.
(thanks for remembering me Dean, I didn't know I was an "old friend.")

Glad I bought my home at a reasonable price!
