"TV news reports tend to stick to the "gee whiz, ain't it grand" type of story, interviewing happy motorists filling up at the pump and bypassing any sort of context or analysis.I can't stand watching TV news!(if they made TV news look like Max Headroom it would be a little bit more palattable)
According to the hints and clues in Max Headroom we're now living 20 minutes into the future.From the trivia section of IMDB's entry for the American version of Max Headroom:Exactly when the story is meant to be set is an open question.
