Any plans to see Grindhouse?
Lisa wants to see it. I don't want to pay 20 bucks for the two of us to see what I know is going to be rammed down our throat when it hits cable.
we missed out on seeing "28 Days Later" on the big screen. It will probably go to Rachel's theater. I think it is cheaper there. I wicked want to see "Grindhouse" I am sad that they are splitting up the 2 movies because people have not been seeing it due to its length. They are just pussies! If it had a jedi knight or klingons in it then people might go see a 3 hour movie. It is "Kill Bill" all over. Movies is too long lets break it up into 2 movies. "Grindhouse is a DOUBLE FEATURE; 2 movies for the price of 1. What is wrong with people! They used to run double features all the time, especially at the drive in theaters. Or at least run a cartoon before the movie. Now I HAVE to pay double to see the movie that was originally 1. When it comes out on video or cable they best offer both movies in 1 package and not charge me extra.
I actually resent how we are made to watch the advertising. If you want a good seat or at least your choice of seats you go early. You listen to crap music and watch ads for services I do not need or want and even if I did I would not call these people because I was forced to watch their ads. I wonder the success rate of businesses based on their ads like that.
I saw extra clips of "Borat" and was annoyed so much that I do not want to see the movie. I can ony deal with SBC's characters in short sketches. It is too bad b/c I like "The Ali G Show" which I will still watch, but to see the full length movie of the character "not so much".
