I'm not too worried. It's a Trojan, not a virus. The amount of people who choose to download a supposedly new video codec in order to watch pr0n, while no doubt sizable, isn't anywhere near the total installed base. Plus, nothing they do is going to affect our Macs.
(Also, the article claims typing in your admin password gives you full "root" access privileges. Wrong -- it gives you full admin privileges. But why get technical when doing tech writing?)
